Marc Vinciguerra: Marc Vinciguerra is a sculptor and painter who was trained as a philosopher.In 2005 His bronze The Homo-Crucifixis won the selection for a show judged by the curator of the Smithsonian Museum at the National Art Club in New-York City.He did numerous lectures on art and philosophy at universities including the department of theology of Loyola University on the subject of the future of Art and Religion.Marc Vinciguerra won the prize of the 2014 Alpine Fellowship , he was invited to join a group of scholars from Oxford and Cambridge University in a castle in Scotland to think the future of Art with the great english philosopher Roger Scruton author of BBC show ''Why Beauty Matters''.In 2015 he was invited to present a movie about his sculptures at the Foundation Cini in Venice .The artist was also the subject of a documentary directed by cinematographer Dirk Van Den Eynden who represented his country at the Biennale of Venice and produced by the director of The Museum Marino Marini .Marc Vinciguerra's work explores the sacred dimension of atheism.He is currently the sculptor in residence in Salzburg during the music festival.
